In the luxurious Tramonti valley, submerged in prosperous antique vineyards and Chestnuts fields, The Frescale has restructured a beautiful peasant’s cottage and has equipped it with of all the comfort to, in order to offer its guests a vacation from the rush of everyday life and from the horde of the frenzied Vacationers. A vacation filled with fresh air and genuine flavor, dipped in the green coast. A few minutes from the sea, Ravello and Amalfi... The Frescale is ready to fulfill you desires of a satisfying, relaxing and beautiful vacation.

For us at the Frescale, hospitality is meticulous, particular and always discreet. At the table we always suggest the guest only the best products... .

With our traditional cuisine, which follows the course of the seasons on a daily basis. We offer legumes and vegetables are produced in our woods and freshly cut on a daily basis. Mushrooms, game, extra virgin olive oil, walnuts and chestnuts, wine from The Amalfi Coast as well as many regional labels...

Also the fish are special at Il Frescale, prepared following the ancient recipes: Cod and potatoes, stockfish, small "Piennolo" tomatoes and black olives all in a light onion sauce...

Something you should not miss…our magnificent pizzas, which have earned a world famous reputation. We also offer whole wheat pizza!

Then to successfully end every lunch, nothing better than our very own herb infusions: Limoncello, Nocino, Mortello, or the exclusive "Concierto", than make by nunneris of St. Giuseppe and Teresa Covent!

The Frescale is also available for small receptions and ceremonies, with a roomy restaurant and a beautiful open terrace under our magnificent trellis.

Even more, we offer an exclusive, area ideal for business lunches or romantic candle light dinners under moon...

HOLIDAYS AT FRESCALE

We are located in Tramonti, at the heart of the Amalfi Coast, ready to fulfill your desires whether they’re cultural, sports oriented, or merely a desire to relax... Sunsets, in fact we offer all the advantages of a center location, but out of the tourist flow and city chaos. We offer our guests: Walks in our beautiful green chestnut forest, or a totally relaxing rest in the refreshing shade of our trellis…

As well as interesting visits to our perfumed wine cellars and to the laboratories where the mozzarella and other local cheese are produced, or trips to the shops of local bottle craftsmen, where you can see how bottles are still made following ancient traditions.

The magnificent frescos in the Gete Cave, or the precious burial garment found in the Pucara or Polvica Churches, the wonderful pavement in the Saint Peter church... and thousand routes through churches and museums filled with art and history;

Ravello, its Villas and its renovated music festival is only minutes away and like Maiori, Capri, Ischie and Procida can be easily reached by taking one of the local ferries. As well as Amalfi and Positano that although a little further away can also be easily reached. The same is also true regarding all the other coastal towns. We are located in privileged position that allows for day excursions to Naples, Pompei, Caserta and Paestum...

The sea is approximately 15 minutes away and our guests can easily reach it aboard our shuttle service …
